(Duluth, MN) -- It's still up in the air whether more factory orders will create more jobs at Duluth's Cirrus Aircraft. Last year, shipments of planes hit an all-time low, dropping to 270 but now reports say there are nearly 430 orders for new aircraft, which are due to be produced in 2012. An optimistic sign: each order of the new jet is being backed by a 100-thousand-dollar deposit.
